Quality Assurance Technician

Description:

This position will be in the Quality Assurance Department of the Plant Operations located
at 16125 Valley Boulevard, City of Industry, CA 91744. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food processing and/or product preparations are in
compliance with product and regulatory specifications; will work independently and interdependently with plant workforce but will report directly to the QA Manager.

Typical responsibilities will include:

1. Quality Assurance (QA) System & Audit:
Assist in the implementation of cGMP and HACCP requirements. Assist in conducting Food Defense, Food Safety/cGMP orientation, Hazard Analysis for Critical Control Point (HACCP) & other programs for QA, production and warehouse personnel. Assist in documenting, filing and updating QA procedures, quality records and other pertinent QA documents. Assist in periodic cGMP/HACCP audits & monitoring of sanitation and hygienic practices. Assist in investigation and documentation of customer complaints and/or plant-related quality issues or concern. Assist in pilot test runs for new products to be launched. Submit weekly reports to QA supervisor on all quality related issues.

2. Process Monitoring and Inspection:
Assist in sampling and testing of all raw/packaging materials used for production. Assist in sampling of all items received from outside contractors. Assist in conducting regular process audits to verify that the products meet the standard specifications as per Product Instruction sheets. Collect samples for microbiological test of in-process/finished products, food contact surfaces and food handlers and analyze results for corrective measures. Conduct random product weight checks and recommend controls by assisting the QA supervisor/manager in statistically identifying preventive and corrective actions. Check the major raw materials (egg whites, egg yolks, cream, butter, etc.), major packaging materials (cake/roll boxes, liners, trays, etc.) and confirming that these are acceptable for use by Production. Verify, analyze and document all results of quality control inspections addressing critical points. Asist the QA Supervisor/Manager in identifying all possible sources of process defects and establish corrective actions. Coordinate with the Production Supervisor re: the disposition of sub-standard finished products. Check and record the concentration of sanitizing solutions used in each production area/section. Calibrate all thermometers (daily) and weighing scales (weekly). Check all production processing monitoring sheets (chiller/freezer temperature monitoring, proofer monitoring, oven temperature monitoring, etc.) for completeness and accuracy. Alert production supervisors if there are abnormalities seen. Conduct walkthroughs with production and warehouse regularly to pinpoint problem areas and/or implement improvements. Accomplish a Corrective Action Request/Corrective Action, Preventive Action (CAR/CAPA) and follows up production for problem resolution.

Project Manager (Store Development Department)

Description:

This position will be in the  Store Development Department of and will be assigned to handle projects within the North America Operations in East Coast. The successful candidate will manage the store development department services, construction & maintenance projects of stores, plants & main office to ensure timely, accurate and consistent high quality delivery of products and services.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Plan, coordinate & implement construction of new stores, renovations, office  & plant improvementson special project basis if needed, etc.

Payroll Specialist

Description:

This position will be in the Human Resources (HR) Department of Support Center location in Valley Boulevard, City of Industry, CA 91744 and will report to the Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient, (timely and accurate) processing of payroll, handle employee inquiries and work with other HR team members to ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with statutory regulations.

Typical responsibilities will include the following:

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of leave of absence payments, retroactive payments, shift differentials, bonuses, accrual policies, new hires and terminations using ADP Workforce Now.

Manage ADP Time & Attendance system.

Manage payroll imports into ADP Workforce Now, including master file and pay data additions and changes.

Process manual checks, as needed, for terminations, bonuses and lost checks.

Monitor payroll inbox and provide employee assistance in a timely manner.

Respond to employee inquiries concerning payroll with high customer satisfaction.
Process garnishment orders to include accurate calculation, notification, system input and compliance.

Work closely with HR on employee benefits (e.g. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and Short Term Disability) and payroll changes.

Generate reports for finance, human resources, department managers and U.S. Bureau of Labor using ADP Reporting.

Prepare amendments and follow up on tax resolution issues.

Conducts regular post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy of payroll inputs/deductions.
Resolve payroll inconsistencies by analyzing missing information.

Reconcile payroll entries with 401k and GL files.

Coordinate with location managers to resolve any issues that arise.

Assist human resources department with various projects as needed.

Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Real Estate Associate

Description:

This position will be in the Real Estate Department within the JFC North America Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping an updated and organized database of Real Estate and financial information of entire North America.

Typical responsibilities will include the following:

Project Recording: Maintain a database for all existing stores (site and lease information) and upcoming projects (New Site Report and all other documents related to the report); e-filing and documentation management.

Project Tracking: Create and maintain Real Estate (RE) Project Monitoring Template using Excel; coordinate with RE Officer/s, Broker/s, Legal, Landlords, Department or units, Service Provider/s, JFC or JWS Philippines to follow-up any related updates on the projects of the RE team.

RE Department Administrative Lead: Provide concierge level customer service to stores and landlords in handling inquiries and complaints on property/store including written correspondence; set-up coordination for RE team with external & internal parties; prepare lease agreement and supporting reports for the management’s signature; process, record, monitor payments and status of all projects/lease including store set-up; monitor lease expiry and escalation of existing stores.
